UNTIRING ATTENTION
WORK IN THAMES HOSPITAL APPRECIATION OF PATIENT Appreciation of the care and attention he had been given while in the Thames Hospital was expressed by Mr L. W. Cole of Omahu to Tuesday’s meeting of the Thames Hospital Board. Mr Cole wrote as under: —
“I have lately been a patient in the Thames Hospital and I wish to ask you to convey to the sisters and nurses of the Ehrenfried Whrd my deep and sincere appreciation of the untiring attention and care to one and all under their care. Nothing was too much trouble whether it was small or large and the same goes for the doctors and through you, sir, I offer by most sincere thanks to all and can only hope that I did not cause them any unnecessary inconvenience and should I -have done so I offer by apologies to a splendid body of women. Tasty Food With regard to food, there was always an abundance of well-cooked, tasty and appetising meals and that combined with the splendid attention of the nursing department leaves not the slightest doubt for criticism in any shape or form. “ I should be greatly obliged if you would convey the above for me as I am unable to do so individually.” The chairman, Mr P. E. Brenan said it was very gratifying to receive such communica'icns.
