ALL PURPOSES APPEAL MONEY RAISED IN PAEROA £877/13/8 NEEDED FOR QUOTA During the month £333 16s 0d was raised for the Paeroa 1942 All Purposes Appeal, making a total collected of £lBB2 6s 4d, reported the secretary, Mr R. S. Nicol, to Monday night’s meeting of the Paeroa and District Patriotic Committee.

During the month the Ngati Tamatera Hapu’s Committee held a most successful day in aid of the patriotic appeal. As a result of their efforts the record sum of £l2l Ils 9d was raised. The organisation both before and on the day left nothing to be desired and your committee wishes to express its appreciation to all those who assisted in this splendid effort. The report was adopted with special appreciation being - expressed to the Ngati Tamatera Hapu’s Committee for their outstanding effort.
