RADIO-LOCATION

PAEROA MAN IN BRITAIN WITH FIRST NEW ZEALANDERS To have the distinction of being among the first New Zealanders from the Dominion to take up the highlysecret and important work of radiolocation in Great Britain is an honour bestowed upon Leading-Aircraft-man A. Boulton. Prior to the war Leading-Aircraftman Boulton was well-known in Paeroa as manager of Messrs Isaac Brown & Co.

The group to which he is attached consists of 16 men who were selected from about 999 men in the Dominion.

They travelled to Great Britain via Canada and underwent a 19 weeks’ intensive course. They have now been posted to operational stations throughout Britain.
