LEADING-AIRCRAFTMAN J. OLD SAW SERVICE IN MALAYA Advice that, Leading-Aircraftman J. Old of Paeroa has arrived back in New Zealand has been received by his wife, Mrs J. Old, of Poland street, Paeroa. Leading-Aircraftman Old left New Zealand last August and was employed on aerodrome construction in Malaya and on Singapore Island. The unit to which he was attached escaped from Singapore to Java just prior to its capture and later went to Australia.
