PATETONGA SOCIAL.
DENTAL CLINIC FUNDS. On Wednesday evening last, “full moon,” as advertised on a dance poster, the committee of the Patetonga Schoci held a successful social and dance in the local hall. The attendance was very good, the attraction of the evening being the ir.usic, which was supplied by members of the Click Clack Orchestra, of Auckland. Mrs Brassey played the piano, and Mr R. Adams the xylophones and drums. Mr N. K. Evans was M.C.. and a variety pregramme of dances ■ occupied the evening. A.gain old time dancing, which appears to .be gaining favour, occupied a good-portion of the programme The spot waltz was won by Mr K. Rae and Miss Elsie McDonald, and the Monte Carlo by Mr H. Taylor and Miss I. Hunter. Euchre prizes were won by Mrs Diifty and Mr W. Newdick. A splendid supper was dispensed by the ladies. The evening showed a profit, though not as handsome as was expected.
