In Permeti area, British fighters intercepted and shot down two enemy reconnaisseurs.
In Italian East Africa, Kassala was heavily raided. Bombs were dropped on an enemy fortified position, and a motor transport park was straddled.
British also machine-gunned a transport and enemy personnel.
At Adardeb, a Rhodesian squadron horn,bed an enemy camp, starting a fire. Numerous reconnaissances were carried out - over enemy territory on all fronts. From jail these operations [British aircraft returned safely.
PATROLS ACTIVE
(Received this day at 11.30 a.m.) CAIRO, December 4.
A communique states: “Our patrols were again active north and south of Kassala, inflicting casualties on the enemy, without loss to themselves. There is no change in the situation ou other fronts.”
