j GBEYMOUTH, March 18. : The Greymduth Town Hall was overcrowded to-night when the Leader of ■fcHifV Opposition (the Hon. A. Hamilton) addre'bs'od- a meeting in support of the national recruiting campaign. Mr Hamilton, who spoke for an hour and a half, was frequently applauded. Stating that New Zealanders had not yet realised the seriousness of the war position, Mr Hamilton told the audience that if they had to go to Russia and Germany and take the law as they found it meted out to . them there, they would know the full value of freedom in the Empire.
