Graham had been appointed to the position in ; view of the former secretary, Mr E. R. Ferguson having enlisted, and that he would continue in that capacity until the next annual meeting.

It was decided, also that a letter be sent Mr Ferguson, now home on leave, thanking him for his services while secretary of the committee and 1 expressing the best wishes of members while, on- active service.

Given fine weather and a good /strike of grass'they should be in good •order in a few months. The Primary School swimming sports' were held last week in glorious weather add resulted in some close finishes. The High School swimming sports will be held this week. The Health Department has advised me that niilk will again be supplied to this school when ; milk bottles are. available.
