WELLINGTON, March 17.; The senior ’ cridket champion team, Kilbirnie, was beaten by 48 runs on • the first jnnings on "Saturday by an eleven from the remaining seven clubs in the competition. The rest scored 200 (Airey 37, Crawford 33, Billy 28, Thompson 25, McLeod 1 24), and 155 for seven wickets (Airey 43, O’Neill 35 not out, McLeod 30 not out), and Kilbirnie totalled 152 (Wilson 56, Church 31).
