Lieutenant S. R. le H. LombardHobson, R.N., naval aide-de-camp to the Governor-General since December, E 37, has relinquished his appointment on his' Excellency’s staff, and has left for England.
Passengers by Cook Strait Airways West Coast service yesterday were:— Westport-Grey mouth: Master K. Butler ; Kelson-Grey mo uth: Mr G. Jacobi; Greymouth-Wellington Mrs N. J. McCarthy, Mr H. A.' Robinson.
Major R. G. G. Bryon, 4th-7th Dra goon Guards, who has been military secretary to the Governor-General for the last 18 months, has relinquished his appointment on his Excellency’s staff, and has left New Zealand to rejoin Ins regiment. He was accompanied by Mrs Brvon.
