In the Commons, Mr Alexander asked, in view of the importance of tho issues involved, would Mr Chamberlain supply the House with copies of telegrams exchanged w : 'th the Dominions hi relation to the EngUsh-Italiau-Ger-m<in talks. Air Chamberiain said a frank, confidential exchange of information would be seriously hampered, if the basis of that might he published. “I feel unable to comply with the suggestion.” Air Alexander—“l appreciate the nature of the reply. Can you tell the House if the Dominions, without exception, support the change of policy.” Air Chamberlain—" That's an entirely different question.’ l Air Chamberlain later announced than any Anglo-ltalian agreement will be communicated to the House.
