BULLET IX MAX’S HEAD I (Per Press Association —Copyright;. WHAXTtARE I, September 13. A serious shooting accident occurred on Sunday. Roy Percival Carson, single, a linesman, employed by the P. and T. Department, at Knitaia was taken to hospital with a bullet in ttie bead. Carson who was riding in a motor car .driven bv C°cil Maxwell, a telegraphist, of Knitaia, alighted to take from the car a rifle which was dismantled, the stock being wranned in an overcoat. The barrel slipped on to the road, and auparently a cartridge was in the breach, which contact with the road caused to* explode.
