The “Morning Post’s” diplomatic correspondent understands Mr Eden and Colonel Beck (Poland) decided that fascism and communist crusades have a tendency to revive wars of religion, and most be discouraged.

There must be no isolation of one part of Europe from another. They considered the attitude of Germany the greatest danger to peace.

Mr. Eden is understood to liave assured Colonel Beck, with respect ta western pact negotiations, that nothing would be concluded that would prejudice the security of Eastern Europe.
