AUCKLAND, Novembe- 12
The death has' occurred of Dr Casement Gordon Diclten, aged 55, at his residence Symonds Street, one of A u ck land’s best known surgeons. He had been ill for a week, and died from pneumonia shortly after midnignt. lie had a brilliant academic care-><* ar. Auckland University, and graduated from Otago in 1909. He gained the Fellowship of the Royal Surgeons, London in 1911 Dm nig the war he was on the New Zealand General Hospital Staff in London. Tie leaves a widow, two sons and one daughter.
