AMSTERDAM, November 12.

Seventeen people were killed and 50 seriously injured,, by explosions on the Greek tanker, Petrakia Nomikos, which was being repaired at Schiedam, dockyard. *• The first. explosion blew the after part of the ship to pieces. Tn the second explosion the ent'.re deck and funnel were destroyed; the rescuers being pinned beneath the wreckage.

Flames raced along the length of the oil-soaked structure, driving off the firemen. ,
