Anti-aircraft machine-gun fire drove off two macuines, but another heavily bombed the aerodromes at Ouatrovientos and Getafe, leading to the* unsupported insurgent claim that the latter was completely, destroyed. The majority of residents of Getafe and adjacent suburbs have gone to Madrid for comparative safety.
