JARROW INDUSTRIES’ PLIGHT.
PETITIONS IN THE COMMONS. (.United Press Association —By Electro Telegraph —Copyright). (Received this day at 11.5 a.in.) LONDON, November 4. Miss Eileen Wilkinson and, Sir Nicholas Grattan-Doyle presented petitions in the Commons praying foi the revival of the Jarrow industries after fifteen years of depression, and for the relief of thousands of people without work.
Mr Stanley Baldwin disclosed that he had received over seventy similar petitions in the form of resolutions and letters.
