PACIFIC TERRITORIES* (Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 1.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 21. Prfessor William B. Munro, formerly professor of American History at Harvard University, who is visiting Sydney, stated the United States would view with deep concern j any change in the ownership of territories in any part of the Pacific. Two dominant political parties in America were in agreement on tnrs attitude, and American defence was concentrated on the Pacific. ' The importance of maintaining tlie status quo in the Pacific had ne«>. emphasised in the Roosevelt policy.
