CAMPBELL SAILS FOR DAYTONA

LONDON, January 23

Sir Malcolm Campbell sails on the Aquitania to-day accompanied bv five mechanics, and also by Lady Campbell, and their eleven year old daughter, Jean, who decided at the 'last minute to watch the th*’ee hundred miles an hour bid which Sir Malcolm intends to attempt for the record on February 19, when Daytona is expected to be the most smooth. The equipment included a spare engine, and five hundred gallons iof petrol. Sir Malcolm wears a crash helmet in order to prevent injury due to increased acceleration and breaking.
