ASHBURTON, January 15. A second serious grass fi le in the County in seven days ocun’ed at Carew yesterday. A County Council plantation of thirty ari’es containing thousands o* young trees was burnt. Three hundred fire fighters were engaged for five hours combating the outbreak. Some pasture was also destroyed and eight cows are missing. Another fii’e at Mayfield destroyed a farmers supply of hay, and, and another at Wheatstone burned a farmers considerable' 'supply of hay, clover and oatchaff. V
