The directors .accepted the recommendation, and stripping work was commenced on 1 the new paddock. On June 90, owing to the severity of the weather conditions, one shift- .a day was reverted to. Two shifts will be put On 'again when conditions improve. Sluicing is being carried out front a full face of wash. On July l the boxes were advanced another length into - the face, and .when' the necessary bottom was being cleaned up to allow for this, 3J-oz of heavj gold was recovered, one piece being jLi)dwt.
