MaCartiiy Trust was held and allocated £11,130; bringing the total since 1913, when tlie first allocation was made, to £200,807. The Public Trustee advised that difficulties; were still being experienced in the administration of tlie Trust, owing tb the existing economic ijond.itions and compulsory reduction in rent and interest; and increasing taxation, but notwithstanding these matters it was pleasing to report that the sum of £9,000 would be available for distribution. In view, however, of the acute distress still existing, the Board of Governors resolved to increase the aniount I to be distributed this year to £11,130.
