H. Nott and Dr. Scar Is (Victoria), 196 each, are leading in the King’s prize at the end of the second stage. Despite the boisterous weather, Searls picked up five points on Nott during the da£ to equal his aggregate.
The Moree match of ten shots at 700 yards was won by G. Nott (Adehide), 49, Shepherd (Mosman) being the runner up with the same score. Cromie (N*.Z.), forty-first, with 46 won £l. ' *
“Mick” Simons aggregate, of the Phillip, Charley and Moree matches was won by Searls 97, G. Hill (Orange), being runner-up with 97. Cromie and Carter each scored 91, E. Ballinger 88, Nich oil 87 (all of New Zealand) won £1 each.
The Brigadier Heritage service teams match was won by the New Zealanders (Nicholl, Chapman, O’Donnell, and E. Ballinger) taking £lO. Mosman (Neutral Bay) were the runners-up. Twenty teams competed, ten shots to each than, at 200 yards. The New Zealanders scored the possible hits, and each heat win was warmly applauded.
