TESTING THE WORK. SO FAR SATISFACTORY. (By Telegraph—Ber Bress Association) HAMILTON, January 19. With the object of carrying out survey work inside a diversion tunnel at Arapuni hydro electric works' and Resting the effectiveness of the_ work done to the walls of -the da.u, the gates -of the tunnel were closed yesterday and the lake behind the dam was filled to a depth of 60 feet. r lhe operation was carried out successfully. The tests made are r gnrded as highly satisfactory.
