GENERAL RICHARDSON’S VIEWS (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) THAMES, June 15. Generali Richardson, at a reunion of returned soldiers here on Saturday, referring to the League of Nations, said it did wonderfully fine work on the social side, but he could not say he was impressed with its work on disarmament. He stated that as far as he could see, the countries would not reduce armaments while that powerful country, Russia, rannind outside the League. He stressed the fact that it was not possible for the Empire to go further in disarmament-, while there still re-, mained the menace of countries not in the League. This certainly, was not the time to abolish military training nor reduce the forces.
