Playing in a practice round at Kooyonga, Morpeth (New Zealand), went round in sixtv-nine, which is four strokes better than the record for the course of 73 held by Tucker.

Tn a competition game, Mclntosh played Young for inclusion in the professional championship on Monday, Mcfntosh winning by one stroke. In the first round of a 36 hole competition' to-day, Stewart, Corry and Heard divided, witli 151 each. Each of the players'went round in tlirees.
