A correspondent of the T imam “Herald” writes: “A modern act of highway robbery was enacted on the Alain South Road on a recent afternoon. The highway robbers were, in this case, four boys, ages 8 to 11, approximately. Tlie eldest lad held securely the hands of the victim, a boy of 8 while No., 3 hoy searched and robbed the victim’s pockets systematically of some sweets, which lie had just bought at a confectioner’s for his little sister at home and himself. The fourth hoy looked on contentedly, evidently enjoying the whole procedure, not offering to interfere in any way.”
