WESTLAND SUB-UNION.

At il special meeting of the Sub* Union held last evening at which a full attendance of members (Mr H. M. Coulson in the chair) and officials of the two senior clubs were present, the lattor by special invitation, the question of tbe location of Saturday’s game was discussed.

Tbe West Coast Rugby Union notified the Sub-Union that the match must be played at Grevmoutli.

After considerable discussion it was decided to play the game at. Greymouth, though there was considerable feeling expressed against this course, the motion being carried bv five to three. The Sub-Union decided 10 ask the W.C.R.U. that the junior representative match set down to be played at. Grevmoutli on August 28th be played on that date at Hokitika. It was also decided that a conference be arranged for Tuesday evening next at Groymouth, between representatives of tbe two Unions.

The Westland team as originally selected are to assemble at tlio railway station on Saturday to leave by tbe 12.41 p.m. train for Greyirioutb. The team will play in tlio Excelsior colours (red and black).
