LONDON, July 8. The Admiralty reports a British ’destroyer on 6 th. July was torpedoed, and sunk in the North Sea. Qjm officer and seven men were killed. FRENCH SUBMARINE SUNK SEVERAL MEN DROWNED. . (Reuter’s Telegrams.) LONDON, July 7. French official: A Frenoh submarine was torpedoed and sunk by an enemy submarine in the Mediterranean- Several of the officers and crew were lost. Nine men were saved. ADELAIDE -MAIL LOST. LONDON, July 7. The Post Office announces that the Homeward mail from Adelaide of May 22nd. has been lost. THE MONGARA, LONDON, July 6. No lives were lost in the sinking of the Mongara. All ithe people on board were landed, at Messina and are proceeding to England. MINESWEEPER MINED. TEN MEN MISSING. LONDON, July 6. Tho Admiralty reports: A minesweeper in the Mediterranean was mined and sunk. Ten men are missing.

AMERICAN STEAMER SUNK

The American steamer Orleans has been submarined. Four of those on board are dead.
NORWEGIAN STEAMER SUNK
COPENHAGEN, July 6,
Tho Norwegian steamer Renguela, which was insured for 4,000,000 kroner, bound from England to Philadelphia, waa submarined after the, 'crew had bean transferred to a Spanish steamer.

The Admiralty reports The torpedoer E-37 was submarined in the North Sea. An officer and: seven men wer© killed.
