Ihe Daily Telegraoh's correspondent, writing from San feebastian, and • renewing the political situation in Spain, says that Marquis Alhucema's position is undoubtedly becoming one of the greatest difficulty, as the Moroccan affair daily produces the worst feature and the economic situation grows more abnormal, the community approaches anarchy, and the Government, has been on the edge of a crisis for two weeks. It is difficult to see how it can continue without reorganisation. The various sectional strikes of bank clerks, miners and others are indicative of the general drift towards a revolutionary strike. Fortunately, the Spanish people, as a whole, are conservative, but there may he changes, «and these may produce drastic consequences, though, there will be no revolution.
