AYRSHIRES FOR WEST INDIES

Recently a shipment of -high-class pedigree Ayrshire bulls were exported from Liverpool by Mr. W. E. Smith for India.. These bull^ are to,be used on the native cattle with a view to grading up the vmilk-producing stock oh certain farms, which are being conducted on European lines. These bulls nave all been selected from milk record stock in Scotland, as it is realised that only these animals, which are descended froni proved miijcers, are likely to be of any use in India. Representatives from the well-known herds of | Auchenbrain, Auchlochan, 3 Greenan, High Tarbeg, Lesspessock, ILow Milton, and Overton cannot fail to make an impression on the milk yield of their produce. 3 7
