BALCAIRN SHORTHORN BULL FOR JAPAN.
Mr. Falconer L. Wallace, of Balcairn, Aberdeenshire, has sold to the Japanese Government the .fine red Shorthorn bull Balcairiv Meteor (168693), by Diamond. Butterfly (155319), out of Baloairn Mary (8747). Balcairn, Meteor, which was calved on May. 8, 1921, is of the noted Mysie family, which has produced many fine bulls, including Edgcote Masterpiece (115277), stock bull in Mr. J. J. Moubray's herd; the Prince of whales' Edgcote Count; Earl Mahvers', Edgcote Judge; and Mr. Wm. Duthie's fine stock bull Balcairn White Eagle calves in the Collynie herd.
