JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL.

Joll and Ritchie were the finalists for the junior championship, and after an interesting match the former won five up and four to go. In the morning round there was not much between them and Joll turned at the end of eighteen holes three up.- Playing con sistently, Joll increased the lead despite strenuous efforts by his opponent. In the second round Joll won the first fourth, sixth and seventh, tenth] and twelfth, while Ritchie won the third, fifth, eleventh and thirteenth and four-%-6 halved. The end came at Long Tom where, Joll being' down by five, a half gave him the match and championship for 1922.
