MESSAGE FROM MR. LLOYD GEORGE. (BY TELEGRAT" ~"-v*e •W'^mv 7 HOKTTIKA. Feb. 16. The Prime Minister arrived this even_ ing and was accorded a magnificent reception. During the course of an address Mr. Massey read the following copy of a cablegram from the Secretary of State for the Colonies to his Excellency the Governor-General of New Zeaalnd: —"I shall be -obliged if your Excellency will convey to Mr. *Massey the following message for him from Mr. 1 Lloyd George (Prime Minister): — . j "I" earnestly trust that it will be possible for ypu to come to England for the conference next June. I consider that the conference will have to discuss and decide questions of vital importance to the future of the ■ Empire, especially its policy in regard to defence, foreign policy, and other very important questions. I feel that it would be a great calamity if we were deprived of your experience and advice. "—(Signed) Milner. . .. ' I -' I
