Best cows in Mr W. George's herd realised £15 to £23, others, £11 to £13 10s Dairy, cows on account of other vendors sold from' £10 to £18, 2-year-old dairy heifer's (close up) £11 5 S * to £12 15s 3-year-old do (poor conditioned and backward) £8 to £10 I.os.

Sheep sold at late rates, good hoggets being mostly.in demand; In the store pens young battle again came forward in big numbers, good sorts seisin<* well Mixed yearlings £2 10s to £3 Is, yearling steers £4 6s to £5 6s colored and smaller, sorts £2 15s 6d to £3 10s yearling heifers £4; 2s to £5 10s, smaller do £3 to ; £ 312s 6d, 2-year steers (colored) £6 15s, /S-year-old do £11, 2-year-old empty heifers £6 10s to £7 6s,'forward conditioned cows £9 6 S to £10 2s 6d, store do £6 10 s to £8 10s. The dairy , sale attracted a. good muster of dairymen, a big yarding of good quality cattle, mostly heifers, coming forward. I offei-ed a small herd on. account of Mr O.; Kerrisk, of Stratford, this although containing many poor conditioned cattle, sold, well. Mr E. Walter, of Douglaa, again yarded some, fine quality heifers, which met with a/ready sale.Jn Mr Kerrisk's herd b?st cows realised £14 to £19, pooreivconditiahed soi-ts £9 to £12 cows on account of other vendors £10 to £26, dairy heifers £12 ,to £16! smaller and back ward, sorts £8 10s to £10 10s.
