At Rahotu on Tuesday I had a good eritry of stock and a good attendance. Bidding throughout the day was' brisk for all lines. A nice pen of steer bullocks was yarded and after keen competition were sold at £6 Is 6d. Two pens of weaners were offered, but were passed in at 15s 6d; yearling to 15 months mixed, realised £2 10s 6d; yearling to 18 months heifers, £2 7s 6d to £2 14s; 18 months steers, £2 16s to £3 2semptv 2 year heifers, £3 9s to £3 16s' 6d- empty grade Jersey heifers (good colors); £3 3s; 2J year steers, £5 3s; store bullocks, £6 Is 6d; store cows (strong demand), £2 10s to £3 19s 6d; forward cows, £4 ss; fat cows, £4 16s to £5: bulls, £4 7s to £7 ss. During the week I have sold a good number of cattle privately at the following rates: Mixed weaners, good quality, £1; 18 months steers, £3; 18 months heifers, £3 to £3 7s 6d; 18 months mixed, £2 15s to £2 16s; 24 year steers, £4 5s to £4 10s; store cows, £3 10s, £3 15s, to £3 16s ; store bullocks, £6 6s; fat bullocks, £3 10s ; fat cows, £5 6s, £5 10s, to £6. Lambs, 9s to 10s; ewes and lambs, 18s 6d; ewes 8s 3d; wethers, 11s 6d, 11s 9d, 135," 13s 6d; fat ewes, 13s; fat wethers, 15s 6d ■ mixed sheep, 7s 6d, 9s 6d. Team of bullocks, £71 10s.
