YOUNG, HOBBS AND CO.'S STOCK REPORT.

At Stratford on January 16th, we held our opening sale for the new year, which was as usual held in conjunction with the. Loan- and Mercantile Coy. All classes of stock sold readily at the hammer .or immediately afterwards. We quote:—

Cattle.—3J to 4-year fresh and forward bullocks, £6 7s 6d to £6 11s5-2-year steers, £4 95,; forward cows, £4 -7s to £4 11s; fresh do., £3 ,12s 6d to £4; stores. £3 3s to £3 10s;>earffng to 15----month steers, £2 15s to £3 3s 6d'; yearling heifers, £2 10s to £2 15s. Our next Stratford cattle sale will be held,on Tuesday, 30th inst., and our annual Stratford Sheep Fair on Wednesday, 31st.
