C. Phillips' farm, Inaha, to Mr McCalluin, of Okaiawa; 50 acres of same farm to an Aiiroa client; approximately 400 acres, Whakatane, Bay of Plenty, to a Wellington investor; a business site of 40ft frontage, Bridge street, Eltham, to a local investor; * quarter-acre sections and two acre sections, Hawera, extension,-..t0 local investors; Mr MeCa'llum's dairy farm ot 100 acres, Okaiawa, with machines, etc., to Mr Tippett, of Normanby; 640 acres, Te Kuiti, to an Otakeho cnent; dwelling-house, South road, Hawera. to Mrs Norton, of Manaia; Mr Sheppard's awellmg-house, Furlong street, to a local investor; two dwelling sites, Cameron street, to Mr Downey, of Hawera, and three building sites in one week. At present there is a strong demand for town and suburban building sites and dwelling-houses; also an increasing demand for leasehold dairy farms in small areas, and freehold dairy farms on easy terms. The client for farm lands with big capital is still a stranger to Taranaki.
