The Town Board monthly meeting was held on Friday evening.
Correspondence was read,
From New Plymouth Borough Council, re iepresentative at the Christchurdh Exhibition.
From tho Lands Department, in reply, stating that the occupiers 1 of land should clear the gorse from the frontage. The Clerk is to write to the Hawera Hospital Board that it is time to move in tho matter of providing a shed for the ambulance waggon.
The Chairman reported that a tender had been let for a new floor in cottage and the work had been done; that M. Dillon's tender had been accepted for the pound, and that he had been appointed ranger; also tliat A. Donnelly had contracted to do tihe forming on Longfellow road, and has done the work.— The matter of re-gravelling footpaths was deferred oft account of the weather being too wet for carting.
Accounts amounting to £80 were passed for payment.
The Domain Board (same members) also met for business, and decided to do more planting in Domain. Accounts were passed, and the Board rose.
