TANNER'S ARK.

MORE EXPERIENCES. [PRHS ASSOCIATION.] CHRIBTCHUROH, December 17. Felix Tanner's Ark, which left Wei* lington on Thursday week with the owner and a young man on board, was sighted by the Mararoa off Cheviot early this morning, in distress. The crew were taken off, as the small vessel had become unmanageable and provisions and water were J running short. The Ark was then left to j its fate. A very rough time was experienced by the voyagers. They got to *Kaikoura on Saturday morning, and anchored there for two days. Owing to changing winds they were compelled to seek shelter again behind Amuri Bluff. Finally, after much buffeting and an exciting experience, Tanner was sighted and rescued by the Mararoa.
