Wellington, February 10. The Wellington Navals, in their oonrsi of instruction at the forts, just oon eluded, establised two records in rapu fire for the colony. Petty Officer Peter son's detachment at tbe 6-inch gun goi off seven rounds within the ten minutei allowed. Hitherto the record was fivi rounds in 8£ minutes. Petty Office! Jansen's men fired ten rounds in tei minutes, of which nine were adjadgei to be hits.
