Russbll, February 10. The police have returned fron Whangaruru. They were unable t< find any trace of the native Douglai Kaupeka, wanted on a charge of shoot ing a native woman. The police con sider it impossible to find the mai without the assistance of the natives The latter held a meeting, and decided tc try to find Kaupeka, and advise him t< give himself up.
