ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Atjokland, February 9. From Ongarue come news of a fatal accident to one of the co-operative labourers named Adam Dryden. He was working on a oylinder bridge, when by some means ( he missed his footing, and, falling into the river, was drowned. Ha leaves a widow and five children.
A child named Ivy Victoria Fransham was choked by a plum-stone. An inquest was held, the verdict being " accidental death."
