PATEA LICENSING COURT.

(PKOM OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Patea, Yesterday.
At the Licensing Court to-day, Captain Wray (chairman), Messrs. Livingston, Croft, and Christie were on the Bench. The following new licenses were granted.: — On the police reporting that the buildings are completed according to plans, James Jackson, Waimate Hotel, Manaia ; Philip McCarthy, Commercial Hotel, Manaia ; Owen Pleasants, Railway Hotel, Hawera.
A transfer was granted from L. S. Price to Gustave Tisch, Mangawhero Hotel, the name being altered to the Saw Millers' Arms ; also from John Woolston to John Walters, Waverley Hotel.
Tbfe application &f Eredemk Ballot for a license for the Old Ketemarae Hotel was refused, the police objecting that the license was unnecessary. Joseph Wilson's application for a removal of the license from the Old Ketemarae Hotel to new premises at Normanby was granted.
