TARANAKE LAND BOARD.

[Specially Telegraphed to Star.]

(from our own correspondent.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. The return of land sold during the month of August, shows that £1368 was received, and the value of land sold, £1077. The application of Robert East, to transfer to N. Friday, Section 24, Block 5, Ngaire, was agreed to.

All land in the Opunake and Cape Survey Districts, on deferred payments, were applied for by more than one applicant. The village of Rahotu, and the small-farm sections adjoining have been applied for by more than one person.
