NORMANBY RIFLE ASSOCIATION.

The firing for the prizes given by the Normanby Rifle Association -took place yesterday at the Waihi butts. The prizie winners, as will he seen by the appended scores, were, in the first class— F. Finlay- - son, Ist prize ; H. Gibson, 2nd ; P. Dolan, 3rd ; A. Gibson, 4th ; John Hicks, stb. In the second class — W. Rogers, Ist; Brook, 2nd; Johnston, 3rd. Third class— E. Dougherty, Ist; 3X> Morrison, 2nd ; J. Finlayson, 3rd ; T. Mason, 4th. After the prize firing, an all-comersmatch was got up. P. Dolan carried off the prize in this event, with a score of 36 points. The day was,, not very favorable for firing, there being a strong wind blowing straight across the range.
