THE McGUIRE CUP.
The second competition for the McGuir'e Cup took place at the Waibi butts on Saturday. Mr. J. Milne, Waverley, was the successful competitor on this occasion, having scored 50 out of a possible 60* Messrs. Chadwick and Johnston running him very close. There was a slight breeze blowing across the r.nge, and although it rained hard during the morning, the afternoon turned out rather favorable for shooting. The following are the scores : —
