SPEECH THERAPY

v TALK TO PLUNKET SOCIETY The work of the Lower Hutt speech clinic was explained to members of the .Taita branch of the Plunket Society by Miss Patricia Clarke, speech therapist, .ecently.

Mi3S Clarke said the work in Lower Hutt had expanded considerably, and there was need for another speecli therapist. There was already a waiting list of 60 children, and parents had sent in 111 urgent cases besides those already being treated. A survey of the schools in the clinic’s area would be made shortly, and further children requiring treatment would doubtless be found. „
