ST. STEPHEN’S WOMEN

* MEETING OF ASSOCIATION

At the June meeting St. Stephen’s Women’s Association 52 were present, in spite of a wintry day. Mrs. J. Dalziel presided, extending a welcome to all members and friends.

The guests of the afternoon were members of the choir from the League of Mothers, with Mrs. H. Barron conducting and Mrs. Grigg accompanying each item. The delightful rendering of part-songs was much appreciated. Mesdames Beckford and Hodgkinson contributed solos, and Mesdames Robson and Hodgkinson sang duets. The president expressed the Association’s thanks (to the choir for the musical treal which it gave each year.

The convenors of the afternoon, Mesdames Barron, Rogers, and Miss Pringle, assisted by a tea group, served afternoon tea. The next meeting of the Association will take place on July 6.
