"""HALL TO BENEFIT SCOUTS
A ball organised by the National Club and the Junior National Party war. held in the Horticultural Hall on Friday night, the proceeds to go towaids tiie Scout Jamboree fund. There was a large attendance, and the dancers thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The iin.ll was beautifully decorated with flowers and bun ling.
The committee responsible for the arrangements comprised Mrs. G. Feist (president), Mrs. J. Fletcher (secretary), and the vice-presidents of the club. Messrs. E. Williams, F. Comment, V. A. Pool. Mesdames M. Ralph and E. Harding-Morris, Mioses O. Mitchell. B. Hutton, Messrs. H. Stoupe and V- Banning. The junior members of the committee were Mr. J. G-Bingham (chairman). Misses Gwyn Abercrombie. Vivienne Aldred, Valerie Ciothier. Renie Silverwood. Mesprs. A Wilson. D. Mackisack. V.
Running, J. Pearson. Mr. J. Maunder was the master of ceremonies., and Misses O. Mitchell. U. Silverwood. and V. Aldred were responsible for the decorations.
